Haystacks Via Fleetwith Pike

Approaching Fleetwith Pike from Honister Pass slate mine, we’ll have an ariel view of Buttermere and Crummock water. One of the best views within the Lake District. Fleetwith Pike houses 2 mountain bothies, which we’ll be making a small stop at before heading over to Alfred Wainwrights resting place, Haystacks.

Please be prepared for any weather conditions and check closer to the time, or send us a message through any of our socials/email for an update.

If weather conditions are set to be severe, we will inform all attendees prior to the event on what to bring and/or if any changes to routes or plans are made.

Payment needed for Honister Pass Slate Mine car park, £5 all day. Alternatively for National Trust card holders, there is another car park next to Honister Pass at the YHA. National Trust Honister Pass car park.
