Fleetwith Pike

Fleetwith Pike is a mountain located in the Lake District, Cumbria, Inbetween the town of Keswick and Cockermouth. The mountain is notably known for its prominence, making it a popular destination for both climbers and tourists alike.
The summit of Fleetwith Pike was home to a series of prehistoric cairns, which have since been removed. It is believed that these cairns were used as a burial site, with the remains of those interred being discovered in the area during archaeological digs in the 19th century.
In more recent times, Fleetwith Pike has become a popular tourist destination, thanks to its stunning views of the surrounding landscape. From the summit, one can see the entirety of the Lake District, as well as the Irish Sea to the west.
Overall, Fleetwith Pike is a stunning mountain that offers excellent views and an interesting history.

Parking at Honister Pass car park is £5 all day, national trust car park also available next to Honister car park for membership holders.
