Bowfell via The Band

Bowfell is a popular destination for those looking to explore the English Lake District, and its dramatic views make it an unforgettable experience for all.
Bowfell is part of a band of mountains which form the Langdale Pikes, a group of eight fells located in the valley of Great Langdale. The area around Bowfell is a popular destination for hikers, climbers and other outdoor enthusiasts. The mountain is accessible from Great Langdale on the west side, or from the eastern side, via the Band in Langdale valley. The Band rises over 1,500 feet (457 metres) and is a popular route for those looking to ascend the mountain.
The views from the top of Bowfell are breathtaking, with the Langdale Pikes, the Langdale valley and Windermere all visible in the distance.
